Hey everyone!
A small release just to fix some bugs and also add some quality-of-life features.
Features:
- There is a copy email button in the analytics modal now.
- It's now possible to change the colours of all widgets, and every other widget using the branding section of a Pod. Simply go to 'Branding' -> 'Widgets' and then see the options to mass change colours.
Fixes:
- The share modal copy link buttons now appear on smaller resolutions.
- The analytics modal properly counts days and hours.
- Unlocking templates on a locked template should work now.
- Some minor copy issues across the platform.

Hey everyone,
The team has been working on lots of cool things in the background. In the meantime though we've overhauled some existing features and fixed a load of bugs. This release will be going live on the evening of 20/04/2023.
Features
Share Modal:
We've overhauled the share modal to make it easier than ever to share your pods.
- The share modal has been overhauled.
- You can generate user-specific tracking links.
- There is a list of users that have already been invited to view the Pod.
- Revoking access for specific people within a Pod is now possible.
- The email tab has been tidied up, the settings have been simplified as well.
- We have added a 'security & settings' tab to allow you to manage how a Pod can be accessed.
- It's now possible to change user permission levels.
- Pod expiry now works correctly.
We will continue to improve this area of trumpet throughout the quarter and the year, so we'd love to hear any feedback you have.
Podboard:
We hope you are all taking advantage of the new Podboard feature. We've made some small UX adjustments to make editing the Pods and seeing Pod analytics easier.
Bugs and UX improvements:
- Hitting enter when embedding a URL should submit the data.
- We've fixed some display issues with the dynamic pricing widget.
- Hiding the dashboard header is now saved.

Hey everyone!
The team has been hard at work over the last month fixing bugs and releasing improvements & new features.
Features
- We've released trumpet Academy a free training course to help you succeed with trumpet.
- We've released a 'Link Preview' widget, it's great for showing use cases or blog posts.
- If you're part of multiple companies you can now switch between them in the top right-hand menu.
- There's a new tab for attachments in the Pod Analytics modal.
- Dragging and dropping is now possible to rearrange widgets via with multiple items drag and drop (such as about, logos or testimonials).
- It's now possible to add text to the competitor table.
- Podboard in the menu has been renamed to 'Analytics'.
- The 'Analytics' tab on the 'Analytics' page has been renamed to 'Charts'.
- We've released the 'Podboard' a pipeline tool to manage your Pods as they move through various stages of your deal flow.
Podboard:
- A new tab has been added to the Dashboard called "Podboard".
- The Podboard has 4 columns, Draft/Active/Completed/Lost.
- You can drag and drop cards between columns which will update their status in the backend.
- A new re-usable system of adding tags has been created.
- Pods can now be created with tags assigned to them.
- Pods can be filtered by tags in the Podboard.
We'll be introducing tags across the platform as we see how people are using them.
Bug Fixes:
Our team has worked hard over the last month to fix 100+ bugs, performance issues and consistency errors. Some highlights include:
- We've fixed font loading errors on certain devices.
- Made a lot of fixes to the mutual action plan widget.
- When inviting a user, it auto-selects the correct team.
- Optimisations when removing images from a widget background.
- The colour picker has been improved when closing or picking colours on certain widgets.

Release 28/02/2023
Hey everyone! We've been very busy working on some huge projects over the last few weeks and are delighted to finally release them! Here's a breakdown of the projects and features we've been working on:
The Content Library
- Folders can now be created in the content library! A new Folders tab in the content library allows users to access their folders
- Folders can be created on this tab and folders can be created inside other folders.
- Multi select is now possible in the content library allowing for easy transfer of content to folders and easy deletion of content too!
- Search bars have been split out from the Filters menu for easier searching in the Content Library and other areas
- A new tab in the Content Library allows you to search for Logos in Edit Pod mode
- An info icon now directs users to the allowed filetypes in the Content Library Upload section
Analytics
- Analytics have been overhauled. A new Modal now appears when clicking the analytics Icon in the Pod
- We now track Link Clicks in Pods, including the Page they are on, the type of element that was clicked and the user that clicked them
- We now track Page analytics, showing views/time/comments/link clicks
- We now give a more detailed breakdown of analytics on a per person basis, showing the time they spent on each page
- After 10 minutes of inactivity, we no longer update the analytics until the user becomes active again
- The new analytics Modal can be accessed from the Podboard and My Pods tables, making analytics accessibility that much easier
- Some teaser tabs have been added to show what we're going to be adding in the coming months, stay tuned!
Onboarding
- Onboarding has been completely overhauled over the last few weeks, giving a much more consistent flow for all sign ups & invitees and fixing many of the issues that users have found throughout their onboarding journey
- A new Welcome step on the Onboarding Flow now guides the user through the creation of their first Pod, giving them a better understanding of the of Pods and trumpet.
CRM
Including HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce & Close
- CRM's have been overhauled, a new CRM Push Service has been created allowing for easier and more consistent integration with CRM's.
- All CRM's now get notes pushed to them when certain actions are performed.
- The actions that we push as notes are as follows: Pod Creation, Pod Open, Pod Engagement, Pod Attachment Download, Mutual Action Plan updated
- Close, a new CRM Integration is being added to the platform with all the same functionality as the other CRM's.
Pods
- It is now possible to lock down Pods & Templates, preventing them from being edited until they are unlocked again.
- Notifications are now enabled for when a person completes a step on the Mutual Action Plan
- Mutual Action plan edit history now populates correctly with a limit on returned items. It also now shows who completed a step.
- Its now possible to edit the text in the Mutual Action Plan, adding links, changing color and size of text
- The Live Mode welcome screen now displays the Pod Layout background, providing a better visual experience for users
Fixes
Our team has done a huge QA overhaul too, fixing over 50 bugs and UX issues across the platform. Some to highlight:
- Resolve display issue when using Content Library in Firefox or Safari
- Fonts sizes are now dynamic on mobile and now reduce in size appropriately
- Notification Copy is now across two rows instead of one
- Text toolbar was slightly covered by the Edit Pod Sidebar
- Certain Characters + Emojis don't allow linking to a specific Page
- It is now possible to tab past the Value input field when creating Pods
- Template Cards are now 3 columns on wider screens
- The updated sidebar design from the Dashboard Overhaul now displays the number of free Pods left along with a message about deleted Pods in the Billing section
- Increased Tooltip consistency throughout the platform and ensured they align correctly

New Features
- The Onboarding Flow has been completely overhauled, giving a much smoother experience for all users, including those invited to the platform and those signing up
- The Text Toolbar has been rebuilt, it now floats and many more formats of text have been added for consistency and ease of use.
- Clicking on the Avatar in the header of the app now opens a dropdown with links to various different places and functionality
- Content can now be assigned to multiple teams and can be reassigned to a team after being assigned
- Content Library file names now save the original file name
- Add 'Search' functionality to Saved Pages
- 'Create Template' has been added to the Create Pod button
- A new search bar has been added to the Widgets menu for searching all widgets.
Widgets
- A new Embed Website Widget has been added with the functionality for updating width and height of the widget
- The Google Workspaces widget now supports changing the size of the content
- A new Arcade Software Integration Widget has been added
- A new Storylane Integration Widget has been added
- Competitor table widget can now have a title (for newly added ones)
- Its now possible to update the background colors across a number of widget cards, including FAQ, Progress and Competitors Tables
- Change competitor table circle colours
- Improve PDF Viewer Experience
UX
- Add an Alt to Images sent via trumpet email
- Gong widget was too narrow
- Update Icon URL when changing Recipient Domain in Pod
- Use correct outline icons for Widgets
- When clicking Go Back in Pods, it should now back to the previous location
- Pods no longer open in new tabs to prevent mass tabs being opened
- Widget Alignment is blocked by Intercom
- The buttons on the Login & Sign up pages have been updated to reflect which mode the user is on.
Bugs
- Saving a pod template button says 'Send Invites'
- Fix issue with Pricing Widget plans that could not be changed
- Fix issue where Content Library was closing when clicking anywhere on it
- Resolve issue with consensus widget scrolling the Pod and hiding the navbar
- Pasting images into Pods breaks saving pods & templates - We now upload this to the content library and use the Image URL
- Resolve issue with Custom Fonts not appearing after uploading
- Fixes issue with Height not saving correctly on Google & Website embed widgets
- Fixed an issue where the verify screen could not be passed
- Resolve issues with drag and drop
- Widget Background Colour not saving
- Adding an image as the background (using Unsplash) to the Voice Note Widget disables the buttons
- Divider lines appearing between widgets
- Ctrl a not allowing color change on the new toolbar

- A new Navattic widget has been added
- Buttons across all widgets have been upgraded to allow for Page selection for easy linking

- Added to the Status column an Info Icon that explains the statuses of Pods

Hey everyone, we've had a very busy month since we came back from the Christmas period, focusing on bug fixing and UX improvements whilst we work on some much larger features. Here's what we've been upto
Features
- Notifications can now be disable on a per Pod basis.
- We now convert Webp to PNG / JPEG when uploaded to support the preview image generator
- When uploading images, we now attempt to optimize the size of the images for better load times and preview generation support
- When using the trumpet mail system, the sender now is CCed in to continue the conversation
- It's no longer necessary to input the Beta key when signing up or logging in
- A new Dashboard Menu item linking to live Pod examples was added
- A new Zoom widget has been added
- A new Pipedrive Calendar widget has been added
- You can now drag and drop Groups in the Mutual Action plan widget
UX
- The first unfinished group in the Mutual Action Plan will now be open by default
- Better messaging for the User Role when reaching max Pods on the free plan
- The scrollbar on Pods without any layouts applied was hard to see
- Improved Padding on widgets
- Improvements to Widgets on mobile
- Integration Widgets no longer have whitespace around them
- The {x} Icon for Variables in toolbar has been replaced with the word Variables for better visibility
Bugs
- When dragging widgets on the Pod the screen wasn't scrolling
- When making a request after a session has expired it now redirects to the login page
- When opening the Pod Info modal, the fields were not populating
- Changing the page after adding a Mutual Action Plan would revert to the default MAP
- Uploading multiple images with the same name would cause some images to not be uploaded
- Stop scrolling to the calendar widget if it has a cookie banner
- The timeline widget was not saving correctly

Hey everyone these are the features and fixes we've released in Decemeber
Features
- A new Dashboard Header has been released, the header includes a new Inspiration Gallery with real live Pods for users to view, an Onboarding Checklist for new users to guide them in setting up trumpet and finally a new Pod Stats card to take the place of the checklist when it's been completed
- A new sidebar option is available where you can customise the layout of Pods. Our first iteration of Pod Layouts allows you to adjust the width and display of Widgets in Pods and update the background that the Widgets sit on with gradients and images
- An Unsplash tab has been added to the Content Library modal accessed through the Pod Editor allowing you to find the best images for your Pod
- It is now possible to change the background image of every Widget
- If a Pod is in draft but is opened, it now converts itself to be active
- Changelog updated to New Features
- We've released 4 new integration Widgets including Gong, Jiminny, Dubb & Consensus
- Add save button to the Billing Address field
- Currency now displays in the Total Value analytics cards
- The Podboard Analytics tab now surfaces the number of emails sent through trumpet and the open rate of them
- The Podboard table tab has two new columns, emails sent and opened displayed for each Pod
- The Email Invite, when customised and sent as plain text now includes the Pod preview to help increase open rates from email -> pod

Bugs
- When copying a Pod from the Inspiration Carousel it now redirects to the new Pod
- Resolve issue with the Widgets add button being unclickable

- Powered by trumpet should be centered when sidebar is open
- Autosave information isn't updating when editing a Pod
- Review width of 'enter email' screen on mobile
- Pages tabs getting squashed when Pricing Widget was present
- Comment button on mobile is wrong size
- Creating Pods from existing Pods not working.

Features
- A new image generator has been released which generates the preview image for Pods on demand. Previous iterations took some time to update and struggled displaying SVG images.
- A new Media widget has been released alongside the current one with a grid based display system.
- Keynote files can now be uploaded and downloaded from the Attachment Widget
- Sync CRM Leads and Contacts with trumpet when creating a Pod
- Hyperlinks can now be set to open in a new tab or not
- Hyperlinks can now be edited
- Remove pending users who have been invited to join an account
- Comments are open by default now on desktop
- The screens requiring email or password before viewing a Pod have been updated
- FAQ cards can now be dragged and dropped to reposition
- The default HTML widget code has been updated
- Its now possible to change the owner of a Pod, including transferring the Pods statistics and notifying the new owner via email
- A new Timeline widget has been added
- The old Timeline Widget is now called 'Progress'
Bugs
- Resolves an issue where the text on the Pod Header was incorrect when changing between pages
- Resolves an issue where the template preview screen wouldn't update
- When creating a new Pod, adding or updating widgets other than the Pod header was uploading a new preview image
- Fixed an issue with Mutual Action Plan calendar being unclickable
- When editing a Pod, we no longer re-fetch the Pod details after every request as it was causing some lag when typing
- The Intl Phone Number input has been replaced with a simple input field to resolve UX issues
- When renaming a page, we now surface a message warning the user about potentially losing comments on that page
- When adding a URL to a button, the URL would disappear making it look like it didnt work
- Fixed a performance issue with Mutual Action Plan Widget
- Resolves issue with page refresh when opening content library modal in a Pod
- An issue was preventing the ability to add images into text
- Analytics are now tracked per individual when downloading attachments
- Page titles should no longer be removed when opening the edit modal

Features
- Variables have been added to Pods, this allows you to create a template with variables like {name} and {company} and then replace these when using that template to create a Pod
- The option for placing Variables into Pods now lives in the Toolbar when editing text
- Pages were one of our big features added recently and to follow up with that we've added the functionality to save and share Pages with the rest of your team.
- Pages can now be made private, if you're working on a page within a Pod that's already been sent out, you can now hide this from your recipients until its ready
- We've been working hard recently on consistency throughout the platform, most notably this release the menus throughout trumpet have been updated to have a consistent look and feel to them.
- 'Edit Pod' and 'Duplicate Pod' to menu for Most Popular Pods
Bugs
- Issues with the Mutual Action Plan widget have been resolved
- An issue with Template cards not displaying correctly
- Padding on some widgets on mobile was slightly off
